The most amazing thing about God is that He loves us despite our lack of obedience and cares for us more than we could ever imagine. Not only does He give us salvation by grace through faith, but God does not hold our obedience after salvation something by which our eternal life hangs by a thread. The God of Israel keeps His promises and that is something we as people of YHWH can be completely confident. What a privilege it is to have a God who keeps his promises to His people even when they disobey and grieve the Spirit. I am humbled to know that my God, who did not abandon His people in the wilderness, will never abandon me despite my faults and shortcomings. What a God of grace we serve. There is no one like our God!
God's process of purifying His people is only to help us become more like Him. The epitome of perfection desires that we are flawless images of himself, priests of His temple and perfect of examples of His Son.
May God continue to transform me to become a perfect image of His Son, so that others may know the glorious grace that is available to all.

Amen! A God who keeps His promises and loves us even when we fall so short of being who He desires us to be. People so often do not keep their word or do not know how to love others more than themselves. With God's display of love, they can learn what it truly means to serve God and serve others. In their desire to become like God they realize it is a continuous process of bringing themselves to a humble position to let God work through you to exalt Him. Realizing it is not for self-glorification, or to appear to others as "godly." Only God knows our hearts and by continuing to submit to Him everyday can we become more like Him. In doing so, our daily words and actions will be more like Jesus'.
