Just an update with what's been rollin' as of late.
Yesterday I had my exit interview for the teacher credential program at Fresno Pacific. I cannot begin to tell you how blessed I am to have received the compliments that I did. I was utterly speechless as I walked to my car. The people there truly do care about me and what I want to do and my opportunities as a teacher, but even more as a person. I am blessed to say the least, and I think it does say something for hard work and passion.
I also took a job at Buchanan High School for this semester. I will be working a couple days a week with teachers, and by myself since I am credentialed now :), to help students pass the high school exit exam and to help boost the state test scores come April. I am grateful for the opportunity to work at another great school. This is exceptional for me right now because it gives me the freedom to indulge myself with the Lord's work in other areas of my life. Funny how God works things out exactly as he wants them.
Speaking of which, I am continually amazed at how God answers prayer. To say that prayer does not work or that it is not effective, is almost an unprecedented statement. I have seen God do things that cannot be explained. Even in the job that he provided for me showed me that he has my best interest in mind and that he wants me to be able to serve him. I thought it was a nice gesture by God to open certain doors which would leave room for me to do other things that he wants me to do as well. I cannot wait to dive into ministry and start putting my time and effort into the Lord's work.
It is truly a blessing to take the journey of life with God. Not that it will be easy because that is not a promise, but through it all God is there. It is times like these where I am aware of his control, and blessed to be living for Him.
