So today, Saturday, I finished the main editing portion of our new album, A Vision: Authored by the Divine. We are taking a close look at it over the weekend and on Monday to listen and observe. We are then going back on Tuesday to tweak anything that we need to have changed or whatnot. Good times. Enjoying seeing what the Lord has put together these last 3 weeks. Oh, and Dan has been so awesome with the editing and producing process. Literally amazing. Dan, if you read this, know that I appreciate you and thank you so much for all of your sacrifice in making this a possibility. Thank you for honoring the Lord with your talent and gifts.
George Muller once said "we are richly rewarded for waiting on God. He listens to the supplication of His children who put their trust in Him. But in order to have prayers answered, a Christian must make his requests to God on the ground of the merits and worthiness of the Lord Jesus. He must not depend on his own (man's) worthiness and merits."
I am learning that above all else, it is the Lord's honor and fame that is to be the ultimate goal in every prayer that I make. Every time I talk to the Lord, His worth and value has to be of utmost importance, otherwise I will loose all the worth of prayer because suddenly, I have made this about me and not about the Lord. Muller also states that "If you believe in the Lord Jesus, the things you request should be for God's honor." This is the ultimate calling. Everything that we are able to bring before the Lord, should be spoken of with God's honor and worth being the most important thing. If we fail to do this, then we fail to pray, may I dare say, within the Lord's will.
Really, it's about the old saying that I have heard in church a million and one times, "Lord willing..."
May God be honored.
