You are amazing...

So I am sitting here in peets coffee studying for my Greek final for school and yes I am a bit overwhelmed. So I decided to to take a break and read the bible for a bit in order to rest in God. I turned to one of my favorite passages, psalm 139. While I am reading this chapter this small little girl with her Mom sit down near me. She is no older than two years of age and I just sit there smiling. As I watched this small child climb onto her chair and attemp other child like things I was overwhelmed again by the amazing god that we have. This God who knew me before the foundation of the world and has my days in the palm of his hand. "all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." this truth that God is sovereign in my life and is in control is so comforting to know that in times of uncertainty and and immense temptation that God is still the perfect king who is reigning. How intricate our lives are and how perfect is the God who puts it all into action. These simple truths that daily confront my life are profound realities that I hope I never miss.
