The Implications of Christ

The implications of the person of Christ are as follows:
1. We can have real knowledge of God. All we have to do is look at Christ to see God. (John 14.9).
2. Redemption is available to us. The death of Christ is sufficient for all sinners who have ever lived and ever will live. He who did not have to die, did anyway, so that we might be redeemed.
3. God and humanity have been reunited. God himself, not an angel or any other spiritual being, but the holiest divinity crossed the gap created by sin, and reconciled humanity to himself.
4. The worship of Christ is appropriate, for he is not merely the highest of creatures, but he is God in the same sense and to the same degree as the Father. He is deserving of our praise, adoration, loyalty, and obedience.
It is this God that I have the privilege of worshiping and giving my whole life to in order that his name be made famous. Thank you Jesus!
