Sorry I have not been this good at blogging about our recording process. It is going well thus far. Almost to the vocal part of the recording process. The musical instrument part has moved along well with just a few bumps here and there. Lord willing we should be done within the next couple weeks.
I just want to give a shout out to the Lord Most High. He is an amazing God, one who is worthy of all of our praise. I have a divine moment that I want to blog about so that in tough times I will not forget about the goodness of our God.
I was in the bathroom, yes I was (sorry if this is gross, but this is how it really happened...God's amazing sense of humor I guess...), and I was reading some of my book, the autobiography of George Muller. I was reminiscing about how great God is and how He is our ever present help in time of need. I put down the book and began to wash my hands (after I was done...). While I was washing my hands I started singing this little tune that was in my head. After a couple of minutes of singing, I realized that I did not know the song I was singing, but that it was a new tune, and song that the Lord had placed on my heart. I went into my room, picked up my guitar, and before the next 15 minutes was over, I had the entire song written. It was amazing. Divine moments like this, where God places something that is worth singing and writing a piece to, does not happen often. Actually, it has only happened one other time before with the song Lift (on our first album All for You). I do not know what God wants to do with this song, but what I do know is that this melody came from on High, and it is for Him that I write and sing. I pray that God would use it in whatever way He would to advance His kingdom. The song is called A Saint's Cry.
until the next entry...
