Recording Part 2

I am sorry I did not get a blog posted for yesterday with regards to our new album in process. The last two days have been tiring to say the least. We have been in the studio all day for the past three days. It is going very smoothly at this point. Since the studio is not made for full band setups we have had to improvise slightly to accommodate, but it is turning out better, I think, than if we opted to go the other direction in terms of the recording process.

We have the initial recordings for the drums, piano, bass, and lead guitar done for most of our work. Our next objective is to finish those up, as much as we can initially, and then put down the acoustic guitar on certain pieces, as well as the vocals.

I would have to say that working in the studio reminds me of having to study hard for a test or something. The focus and perfection that has to take place can be rather stressing at times, but we have had good prayer times during the day as a group to keep focused and pressing forward for the Lord. It is during these times that God has been faithful and come through for us.
